New Owners are rude don't waste your time. Head to Twin . I'll never go back

Large campsites. Boating, fishing, swimmimg. Can reserve for large groups. Close to other lakes. Showers. BEAUTIFUL

We camped in the dispersed camping areas on the southwest side of the lake. It was nice, somewhat private from other campers depending on how many people are there. Water was warm and shallow near the shore. The trees cover you from the lake a little. The island was fun for the kids to play on and kayaking in the morning was nice! The downside is a million mosquitos and spiders, the afternoon winds are crazy (don't kayak after 12 or so), and the campsites are near a gun range. One night late we heard really loud booms and in the early morning. The other night we didn't. So if you hear that, it's the gun range! You can drive to the resort, it has essentials and they rent out cabins and camping spots, also boats, i think and maybe other things you need. They have showers too. Bring your good bug spray and sunscreen and take advantage of the calm mornings. I also heard fishing was good there. Don't know about any good hiking but there might be.

Beautiful out here

Great people! Very quiet peaceful place to stay. Great bass fishing as well.
